Well, you can always sell one for the same or better price that you got it for.

For example, you could sell the 60 and get a System 8 for about the same price. It basically has a Jp-08 and Ju-06 installed (but with 8- and 6-note polyphony instead of 4- and 4-), and sounds pretty convincing. (If I had the space, I would consider getting one.) Or, if you want to stick with vintage Roland analog, a Jx-3p with programmer and still have money left over.

The system 8 looks quite cool too.

Icelandic customs were very generous when I left the country. All taxes paid on goods bought there were back on my account a week after departure... nice, as was the seasalted chocolate. Never, as a Belgian, I would have thought I'd say Icelandic chocolate is the best.

Digging up an old thread because I've just seen a store here in Aus selling the A4 for $700AU off - still $1400AU but that seems like a good price for a new one.

They might just be clearing old stock, but I also wonder if it means that an update is imminent??

I've had a look and while I know it would be a big jump to learn it, the whole thing appeals to me in terms of workflow etc. Anyone care to add anything (that hasn't already been said) that might convince me to sell a kidney?? (even with the discount it's still a fair bit of cash)

It`s one of Elektrons better machines in that it is pretty versatile, and it sounds great.
Using it in monster unison mode is pretty mad.
