not for me this one. I don't use distortion that excessively to pay so much for a distortion unit.
Probably just a question of time until they present eurorack modules.

Very interesting developments from Elektron. Another verry cool box & so quickly after the last. Those drum machines really come to life with fx.

Wow, at that price that is amazing.
I'll be going for the stereo unit though, the analog heat I think will be intrinsic to my setup.

well any drum machine comes to life with the right choice of FX.
If you are in the market for a distortion pedal, 370USD can buy you something far more interesting than this.

Really?
I have a lot of distortion boxes and I make my own, and I can't think off hand anything that offers so many different analog distortion circuits in one box.
Just one ZVex fuzz factory will set you back 190 quid, a cannonball fuzz is 250 jib
I mean I could make a box with 8 different circuits but I couldn't get it done with parts, enclosure and pcb etching for the price they are selling this for.

just wary of gear that tries to do too many things in the one unit.

Elektron have a good record on quality control. If it was roland I would agree with you.

This is obivously build with Analog Heat knowledge.
Very surprising to see a Elektron stompbox. Will go for the Heat when it dropped in price someday next year. I'm in no hurry (*mywallet*)!

Now I want to see a Elektron one voice mono synth. Seriously.

not really surprising but pretty smart. This will put them in the view of a whole other market.

Thanks for the heads up. That is indeed a ridiculous price. So ridiculous that I have just ordered one. Currently not in stock for another week or two but who cares at that price!

Haha! I nearly did too. I would like the Analog Heat at some point, both for the stereo and the extra features. I'm sure this will be fun for a while though.

I was in two minds but what tipped the scales for me was that the shipping on one was gonna be 10 Euros, but on two it's free shipping.

what you paid for two is less than what I paid for one when I bought it, earlier this year (which was also in a sale). You lucky tosser!
Could have spent that money on ... whatever. Have fun, it's a nice pedal.
