Lol.. 😆😆😆😆😎

I think it's better late than never.

You wouldn't see Roland or Apple release updates for legacy machines. Even Korg don't get all the bugs in their firmware updates.

Fair fucking play to the Elektron team. They've done exactly what I was hoping for.. and a lot sooner than I expected. It's a wonderful day. Hurrah!

Looking forward to update. Lots of cool new dtufg. Randomiser looks interesting.

Downloading this now.

I was seriously considering buying a Digitakt for the seq but reckon this AR MK1 will be all I need & more.

Wow, wasn't expecting this. Awesome update for my rytm. But yes, fuck elektron for leaving midi sequencing out of those machines for so long. I really couldn't understand why it's not implemented. Only reason seemed to be plain sale strategies..

Need to investigate more later.. but don't think the midi sends out cc control.. just notes.

Afaik. From what I've read. . The channels dont choke midi / notes , the way the drum pads do. The AR sends out midi as it appears in the seq.

Using rytm to sequence drum racks in Ableton is great. Conditional trigs, micro timing, mutes etc. Also track change when just pressing drum pad instead of function + drum pad is good.

I dunno.. I reverted back to OG track & pad behaviour. Didn't like it. Track & pad is silent afaik?

Too used to the old way. No mistakes.

Old thread but new Rytm user here since a few weeks ago. Conditional trigs opening a whole new way of thinking for me. Also I like to use song mode so I can use the same pattern and just mute tracks for each 8 bars, etc.
