Yeah, Lost in the void has already covered this stuff. Check his posts about eqing and compression and you will get there.

Thanks guys. I will post asap a loop because after lot of hours i can't the way to make it, sounding right.
And i work on this kind of bass since months now.

I know guys here don't like Bumload but when i hear this bass :
https://soundcloud.com/markreeve/mark-r ... x-Bumload

I really can't understand how to make it. I already try those steps :

- Kick to a Send Channel
- Sometimes a Delay here
- Add Reverb 100% Wet (i think Hall reverb is better for what i'am looking for, right ?)
- Make it mono below 200 Hz with the huge brainworx control
- EQ and cut all frequencies under 120-200 Hz (it depends)
- Saturate with FabFilter Saturn
- Compress with Waves CLA 2A or Glue Compressor
- EQ again and keep the frequencies who "sounds good"
- Sidechain

So i really can't understand what i am doing wrong.
English is not my first language. So, sorry if i don't speak perfectly.
Thanks Subsekt for existing !

No idea, though I don`t see why you are cutting stuff under 120-200hz, not sure that makes any sense

Tony, I'm not going to reiterate that this info is already on here- what kind of answer do you expect? Stop obsessing over this played out sound. Working on this for months and months isn't creatively healthy. I don't know how experienced you are as a producer, but I'm going to hazard a guess of, 'not very'. When you learn more these kinds of things will just happen more naturally.

Just practice and concentrate on the important bit- the actual music that sits on top of this beat. It's not easy and it can take a long, long time for it all to sound just ok, never mind as good as some long time producers.

Like Planer and others are saying, stop obsessing over this one sound and just have fun man! Who knows, maybe you'll stumble onto the next big thing and this time next year everyone will be posting here asking how Big Tone got that fucking mental new kick/bass combo!
Thank you for the laughs, debate, new music found, production tips etc etc over the years. I wish Subsekt and everyone all the best for the future. Wiu.
