if anyone could get hands on new tutorial from Sonic Academy - Chilled House with Vince Watson
I would recommend, it's kick ass & it covers music theory best so far I've seen!

been watching this here and there while trying to get a grasp on fm synthesis in my dx7ii

i've heard a lot about how modulators have been used similar to cut off. but i think i've not had such a better explanation as dean from the new york school of synthesis.. (start at 46m30s)

some of the performance perameters in here are silenced because of the poor tape quality but those are located on another video elsewhere on the web i hear.

Hi... I'm new to Subsekt. My name is Jon aka Dark Arps.

I have a new tutorial series that accompanies the release of a track, where I delve into specific areas of a particular tune's production. I tend to talk about the concepts, techniques and ideas involved rather than showing off a particular piece of kit or software plugin; just because you don't have what I'm using, doesn't mean you'll be unable to achieve something similar.

The series is called "Anatomy of a Track"

You can listen to a snippet of one of the tracks in question here:

And here's part 1 of the video:

Hope this is useful!

At the risk of being slated for this - I found this really good:

I know those of you who know more about mastering won't like this - but to a noob like me, it's handy :-)

quit nice video of a fast Production, only thing i miss is to see the Settings and Tools on the Master because its sounds punchy, hard & loud from the beginning.

Here is a series of videos from Electro Harmonix called Effectology. Each on recreates a set of effects from a song. They do Blade Runner, Pink Floyd, Autobahn and a bunch of others too. Like this one.

Definitely worth watching to pick up some ideas for effects chains even if you don't own any of their pedals.

This isn't Techno specific, but a mixing goldmine. Dave Pensado shares his techniques:

Always listen with good monitors or headphones to get most of the details. Lots of great stuff there!

Nice video, simple technique it sound great! Also i like the way they empathize on the importance of resampling at each step, it's something I often forget to do.

I watched the videos in the series on Youtube. It's a terrible thing. It works for home finalizing, nothing else. Real bull to call it "Mastering Dance Music".
