This was very interesting for me to watch. Very different to my approach. The manner in which you often rendered to audio and then "lost" your settings by directly using operator to move onto the next sound... pretty cool. That would help commit you to a sound. It would speed up my creation process 'cause there is no going back, only forward.

I know it sounds kind of a simple, but it's revolutionizing the way i think. Nice one.
Hi helloitsmeagain,

yes you´re right, by recording midi to audio, you close the door to go backwards,... thats why you should should save your project allways before making the next step..... On the other side, you open a lots of doors to create new sounds from your own sounds,... so you are doing sampling with your own samples ^^ so your sound is getting more and more personality and also it would be really hard to copy, because of, even you won´t know after two days how you exactly how you did them ;)

i think it is just one way to produce your sounds,... but i think its a very efficient and creativ way to do it,... and this is also the fact why i love to work with ableton,.... you can create sounds much faster than in any other daw i know....

here´s my new song,... http://youtu.be/FMZ0ObZBoiE just live recorded, no rework, mixdown or mastering down,...
would be proud about some feedback and comments ;)

let me know if you ever do a session where we'd get to see you laying down a full arrangement. ;)

Maybe i will try,... mostly i just record my songs live and work later only at some parts that need perfection ;) Arrangement could take a lot of time,... sometimes a tooks more than 5 or 6 ours until you are at the last brakedown,... thats why i do it live ^^

If you want to have an way of "standart" Arrangement it would be the best if you take a song you like very much and then you analyse cut the songs in the different Arrangementparts like intro, brakes, build, and so on...... then i would help to your optical orientation when you coulor the particular themes. Listen carefully,... most you will recognice that you cuttet not enough scenes ;)

Than you can build your Arrangement like your famous artist...you would lern there a lot of things,....

Find a pretty handy Music Production playlist on YouTube:

Everything is not pure techno but I think these videos will come handy..

Yeah the Dualtec ones are nice. They know their stuff, though the delivery of the info is a bit frantic at times. haha

Pity there havent been more & concentrating on individual elements / sound-design etc..
