Which Sample Packs do you use?

Post by madATme »

Hey guys,

As I am still setting up my new hackingtosh, i found myself building up a new structure of my sample library.
Well i dropt out about 80% of my samplebanks. Most of them are just not good enough in therms of quality (recording). Well I ended up with:
Deadmau5 samplepack - Loopmasters
ghetto claps sample pack from a dnb blog
ghetto snares from the same blog
Alchemy drum tools which is my absolute favourite
Meat Katie samplepack form Loopmasters as well

And that's it
Not much left... What do you guys have and recomend?

My recommendation is Alchemy drum tools
"never trust your own eyes
believe what you are told"

I'll have to check that one out...

Wave Alchemy - Drum machines 1 & 2
Wave Alchemy - Drum tools

-> got these as a tip from someone on the boards here, not sure but i think it was IGN who introduced them to me... Not sure anymore.

apart from that i like the Zenhiser stuff and Zero-G. Only for the drum samples though, the other samples i try to create myself.

I've been using dave the drummers techno toolbox for quite some time now. Actually it's about time I use a newer pack...

Using Mattias' his pack every now and then. Besides that, i don't use sample packs. Only using the library of maschine to get things going.

Phon.O recently put up a load of drum samples in an Ableton Live Pack. Some really nice samples in there.

On a sidenote I saw him live a while ago and he was brilliant, I'd go as far as to say I enjoyed him even more than Addison Groove and Shed who were on after him.
