I would vote for Prophet 6... as it's really awesome even if you only want to look and see it every single day, even if it is always unplugged!

First post here so a quick hello to everyone.
I would also consider the MFB Dominion 1.
One knob per function and a host of modulation possibilities make it ideal synth for learning sound design.
And the fact it sounds incredible.
It's the one synth I own that I'll never sell.
Good onboard arp and sequencer as well.
