hey guys

Just thought i let you know there is a free soundtoys
Eq available atm! Fid not have the time to try it but soundtoys seem to bever dissapoint.

Got this yesterday but not used it yet, can't wait to though.

Absolutely love the Soundtoys stuff; their plugins are on every channel pretty much.

Downloaded it earlier today. Haven't messed with it yet, though.

Soundtoys make great stuff--still waiting for the whole suite to go on sale again!

Yep got the email and downloaded it yesterday, sounds sweet from the little I messed around with it, the Lindall plugs have a good reputation...

I picked up all of their free ones over the couple of years.

Because I got licenses for them (even though free) it meant that I could get the entire bundle for about £160 on their last sale.Insane.

Guess i found my "character eq", have not had the time to play with this yet, but the soundtoys plugins are my gotos so i trust it will be nice!

The whole suite is always nice and cheap on black friday whether or not you have the free plugins.

Cool, goona do this as well. Would love to have the suite but it is just too expensive for me... so collecting free stuff for now it is.

edit... just saw they offer an academic version. my brother is a teacher. maybe i will be going for the suite at one point. sees to be the only software not available as try before you buy scene release.

Thanks for this! Only had a quick play this morning before work but it feels promising, quite subtle but rich and full sounding, the drive is lush.

Oh yeah? I've been weighing up a bundle purchase but in light of this I might get the 30 day trial to tide me over in hope of a tidy deal popping up.

I have used it a few times now, each time removing it in the end. Things sounded better without it. Maybe unskilful use? I just got better results with EQ8 and proq

Looking forward to trying this out, will download it later while it's still free.

I've been demoing the new lindel eq plug, it's really nice, can't afford the price tag at the moment though so might wait and see if they do a sale at some point. Well worth trying out.

It's free. Free stuff is always exciting, unless it's a free wasps nest, or a free STD.

Actually last night I downloaded the ST5 trial. The thing I like most about the Sie-Q is that lovely Drive pot, but it turns out every plugin on that suite gives nice results when you ride the input or turn up a drive control, and they all have more sound shaping abilities than the Sie (bar Radiators maybe) so it's not going to become an essential for me. Still, it might be a good way to quickly to warm up a percussion bus or lightly shelf off a harsh top end somewhere.
