Re: List 3 things that stop you from being a good/great producer

3 - The small child who currently resides in the room next door. I can't make anything at any volume after 7pm. Not great in the week when I don't get in from work until half 6. Start making lullabies? Bad situation. Do you have good headphones though? Those AKG 701s are really comfortable & sounds...

Re: Long time no see

I miss you guys.

Hey Odd, I'm so glad you realised how much working those kinds of hours was getting to you and made a really positive change to do the right thing for you. Balance is key and that kind of amount of work just aint good for anyone.

Re: Is anyone going to synthfest?

I am going :D So nice to be locally going to something really awesome and synthy! Was it as good as you hoped for? Honestly, WAY better. It was the best £10 I can recall spending. I got a whole day FULL to the brim of entertainment. Everyone was SO nice, so friendly and so approachable. had some fa...

Re: List 3 things that stop you from being a good/great producer

1 - crippling self-doubt about anything and everything I do. Total and utter lack of any belief that I'm capable of doing anything good, musically or non-musically. 2 - THE INTERNET. Massive fucking distraction. 3 - The small child who currently resides in the room next door. I can't make anything a...

Re: What video games are you folks playing?

Ive also played Untitled Goose Game. It was absolutely brilliant! Charming, idilic middle England while bowling around cause absolute chaos. I really needed something like that after the experience of playing and finishing The Last Guardian, which has become one of my favourite ever games. The way t...

Is anyone using Overbridge for Digitakt/ Digitone? For someone who was completely desperate for it, I've not really found it useful at all :(
If you're using it, how are you finding it useful?

Re: Join The Future - new book about Bleep Techno

I tried to get Eve Wood ( Made In Sheffield, The Beat Is The Law) to make a documentary about Bleep Techno a couple of years ago, but she said there was a bit about it in the extended version of The Beat Is The Law and didn't think it was worth extending into a full length doc. Someone should do it...

Body Theory
Illian Tape
Bank NYC
Delsin
Blackest Ever Black
Northern Electronics

There’s loads of labels I like that have had some mint releases but equally some ones I wasn’t feeling as much.

Re: What video games are you folks playing?

Just finished Horizon Zero Dawn and the expansion for it. Utterly stunning game and brilliant gameplay. Again, it was another game I was gutted to have finished. It was like Zelda in so many ways. I must have put a good 200 hours into it. I'm waiting on The Last Guardian to arrive in my delivery tod...

I finished Breath Of The Wild about 6 weeks ago and I felt like I'd genuinely lost something really beautiful.
Dare I ask, is there anything remotely like it? Everyone said Mario was the second best game on the Switch but, meh. I just want Zelda back to be honest.

Re: What video games are you folks playing?

I finished Breath Of The Wild about 6 weeks ago and I felt like I'd genuinely lost something really beautiful. I've played plenty of games over the years but there was something about that one. It's just perfect. It's beautiful, challenging and immersive. I enjoyed skilling up, going hunting, doing ...

Couldnt watch Russian Doll at all. There was a good idea in there somewhere, but thought it was very forced.

How did you think it was forced? Genuinely interested as I enjoyed it so much :)
