I have tanzmaus and i would recommend you if youre looking for classic style machine. It has weird workflow but once you learn it, its great. Actually i dont even use all features it has,, using it only for "main beat", record some automation and thats it. I dont like claps but you can use another o...

I use it only on kick sometimes besides the 2buss comp..
They say its good to have it on bass line but dont want to use it if i dont know why im using it..

Also, sometimes for glueing drum buss

Agree with Hades.
I use both options but mostly recording audio.
Also, when recording audio there is no midi latency which can be hassle sometimes

Yes, you still need power supply. Usb cable transmits midi.
