Re: how do you think techno will sound in the coming years?
Sometimes I'm really tempted to take part in conversations like this, but then I'm like fuck that, I'd rather spend my time in making music.

Re: Food
Yeah man, honestly, makes me think. I mean, I love animals, I'm dreaming of owning a doggy day care once in my life and shelter and love all the street dogs in the world, yet I still eat meat. Bit hypocritical from my side here, I have to admit. well, I'm pretty sure you're not alone ;) What I alwa...
Re: Food
I get your point and I agree that the industry is cruel to animals, but to me that point shouts say no to the industry, not say no to anithing of animal origin. There are such things as eco friendly farms, and not everything is as bad as the dairy industry. For instance no animal needs be harmed fo...
Re: Food
ive had this whole food discussion so often in the place i lived before. some mates are/were quite hardcore vegans and we always cooked vegan and i liked that. i do think it can be healtier to be vegan. though the whole vegan hype that happend 5 years ago was completley nuts.. i dont give a fuck wh...

Waiter: "The fuck out of here!"

Re: Food
So when it comes to cooking I'm wearing the hat in the house. Good my missus won't read that, because she just can't cook. One day she tried, as a surprise... Some zucchini pancakes (basically wallpaper) and in the end the dogs wouldn't even eat it. So that's that. And I simply love cooking. I take ...

Yay! Thank you folks for the input and taking the time and the kind words! It's good you're talking about the hats, I catch myself quite often struggling with deciding the right volume and you guys pointing that out proves the point.

Re: Are amateurs ruining the dance music
I sort of agree with this article, in terms of approach, not content. Amateur practices are causing wank-ness, but amateur music? That's what I thought.. So the dude who wrote this article did not start as an amateur?! It's hard to be patient when you're dreaming of getting your shit out there one ...

Re: dubdub - untitled ambient 620
Everything has been said... Would have pointed out the noise/rain as well, apart from that it's really nice, reminds me of that Skalar stuff which is on in Berlin atm, really cool. The end is a bit abrupt, could work on it a little more and fade it nice. Cheerio

Re: Sapo Scream - RWise
That one got a cool groove to it. Had a listen on my headphones as well as monitors and I think the low end is good. I'm not a big fan of the toms and the filter cut off on that windy/white noise is a bit too obvious for my taste. The rides are a bit too loud for me as well, but that's just my taste...

Re: Jim Sandford - Kno
I have to second LttV's point. In my words: I am missing something that answers the kick and gives the track more a bit of a round groove. Technically it sounds good to me. Maybe introduce a rim shot to give it a groove and variety, or another hi hat, or you arrange the elements you have a bit diffe...
