Haven't tried it yet, but Ableton 10.1 comes with a new Channel EQ device.

Khruangbin for more mellow stuff. The guitar player has excellent taste, very subtle playing style. 1B82sFM_8rw On the heavier side: Power Trip. Haven't really mainlined metal in years, but occasionally find new stuff I like (Elder was a nice find). kPwPwSQE9bs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kPwPwS...

Re: Why we do what we do, and why we sometimes cant.
1. What is your art really about? At some level I just want to make stuff that makes people go "niiice" - doesn't even have to be music. On a deeper level music, especially techno, has always been a driving force in my life, giving energy and strength when I've been in need. So I hope people will f...

Thanks for sharing! Tried it on a live set I'm working on and it seems to tighten things up pretty nicely.

Re: Commitment
I don't expect to make this into a full time thing, although it would be nice to make some money to maybe buy a piece of hardware every now and then - make it a self supporting hobby. I do DJ every now and then at local events but that's just for fun, main source of income is still a job which I'm q...

Re: How is Ableton Push from a purely production point of vi
Got the Push 2 + Suite combo for 699€, so pretty happy with that. After some getting used to it, it certainly helps getting into a flow state. I find it works best for me for making drum tracks and chopping samples. It's also pretty nice for sound design since you can resample right on the Push so y...

Re: New members say hello...
welcome to subsekt. for someone who's been stuck in the "4 bar loop hell", you sure got a lot of tracks on your SC page man ! ;) Thanks :) Most tracks aren't that new though. Welcome! 4 bar hell takes some practice of getting out of, maybe try making some of your clips/loops 2 bars long, or even be...

Re: New members say hello...
Hi, producer/dj from Estonia here. Used to do all kinds of things - produce hiphop, played bass in several bands etc. but a couple of years ago got more seriously into house/techno. Started Dj-ing at local events with a couple of friends and have released some free tracks as well (to reasonably posi...
