It's called elliptical filtering. A lot of mastering engineers are doing it anyways. Brainworx Control has a mono-maker knob and it sounds ok. The latest iteration of abletons sampler, and abletons audio engine itself, are just stunning samplers for me. For emulation of old hardware shit box samplers I use this, it has a real real nice sound and lots of options that emulate the main algorithms and filters of classic samplers. https://tal-...
