Re: Other music you done
wow, you sound zany as fuck. kickstarting music is for shit. it reeks of non-belief and desperation. make your music and either cover the expense yourself or find someone to cover the expense in exchange for a %. don't beg for pennies and then pretend you're giving out some worthwhile product as if...

Re: Lack of motivation
but to answer the OP's question more directly : whenever I come across audio (or MIDI) clips that I like when I'm in a project, or just fiddling away, I save them in my clip library. After all these years I have an extended clip library, so almost every time I don't feel inspired, I can always brow...

Re: Lack of motivation
Try a totally different genre of music. Maybe even one you don't know much about. Organise your files, might find some good sounds, or something old in those "untitled103" and "ijinoin2qnfuckit" project files you forgot about that gives you an idea now. Or just take it as a sign to have a break. I ...

Re: Artists that are assholes
I don't get the Seth Troxler hate. The part where he's being a 'prick' to his assistant, is a proper reaction as a high paid DJ that has a tight schedule to run. If your assistant fucks it up because he was having too much fun, then you get to be angry. It's a documentary, about the DJ, of course th...

I saw it, and giggled. Idc what anybody says, but what matters to me is how you mix and select your tracklist. Beatmatching is only a technicality to me.

Re: R.ichie H.awtin's new mixer
It's actually more Allen and Heath than a new Allen and Heath. It is designed by one of the key Allen and Heath engineers and manufactured down in the original Allen and Heath plant in Cornwall. Whereas Dennon now own actual Allen and Heath and their Chinese manufactured stuff these days just isn't...

Whetehr that be true or not, I'm simply stating that it's far too expensive for me.dylanlolwut wrote:slpwlkr wrote:2500 GBP is a bit much for a mixer to me. I'd rather get a Allen & Heath mixer.
Funny, pretty sure it was designed or developed by the owner of A&H

Re: Favorite movie/serie soundtracks?
I've always really liked the inception soundtrack. I like quite a few zimmer soundtracks. Yeah I liked the inception score, but it was the beginning of of what he is doing now. These days he is just so over the top and obvious and heavy handed. As music it is great, but as a score it just stomps al...

I still use it because it's the only platform I find comfortable to use. People are trying to push mixcloud, but I really think it's an abomination.
