I mean, sure, fine, EQ your master bus.
But to me, if you do so, you are just admitting failure.

Meh, I have had some great results from fairly heavy carving of the master bus eq.

Hello people I’m finishing some music these days. It sounds ok to me when I make it. The problem I have is when I compare it to other tracks on sound cloud etc. Every other track I listen to sounds so wide and stereoish compared to my own. When I watch tutorials, no one seems to do much panning etc...

Almost all new plug ins are 64 bit and for compatability reasons (finishing a tonne of old projects) I stick to 32 bit. Is this affecting my sound? Is it only noticable on certain high end emulation plug ins?

Do I need to use a spectrum analyser?

The third track has great potential but lacks a motive, just dubbing off into the void

How's this coming through? I realise it could do with more transient excitement and textures, perhaps brighter synths

Yeah I got some nice sounds modulating that filter before, generally fucing with that plugin and the in switch an ting

I often think about these variables, most of the time, if i think the bus compression wont sound the same i'll not bounce the tracks, but deep down I know i'm being adhd about things..

Reduce amount of tracks, with your adhd you'll find your music becomes more expressive and free - flowing.

A cool thing I did recently, if your synth has a noise oscillator or similar, inject a little into the signal, as you go on resampling and compressing the synth it will bring the noise out and generally make your synth sound fat.
