good point re sonarworks, Ive been using some akg mk 2's for years and totally used to them even though probably not the greatest headphone. Using the Sonarworks headphone correction thing is part of my practice now in correcting the low end

depends on how much processing power you have with either the soundcard or the pcie cards.
So far Im finding SSL G more useful, the Neve has tended to bring out the punch in the track more, which depending on the material is not always as useful
