Balancing creative ambitions with real life responsibilities

It has been about five months now since I quit my job and started a one-man company. The job was making me feel like a caged animal. However, I also felt I wouldn't be able to achieve the goals I have with producing if I kept working there. With that being said, I haven't found any time to produce i...

Re: The last track that Wowed you

A6Yes8o90CI This guy is actually a mate of mine, and he's one of the best techno producers in Melbourne at the current moment :) proud to see Australian techno getting some kudos! And those are high-value kudos too. It was a long time ago since I was so impressed with a track. Big props to him. Her...

To me, it feels like half a track. It could use some more elements.

Re: Techno and "substances"

It's a weird way of thinking to me, linking the amount of drugs you can handle with your character. I'd definitely be concerned about my state of mind in regular life. Fucking up your dopamine system can happen to anyone. Or that's at least what I believe. Yeah, that's quite a haphazard way of defi...

Sounds logical to me ..
Care to expand on that? It's cool to make a statement and all, but it's even more fun when others understand your train of thought .

Re: Techno and "substances"

MDMA is dangerous, i'm talking about real MDMA and not pills, MDMA fucked my brain for a while i was taking MDMA every weekend and it definitely fucked up my head because i'm still facing the consequences of that shit and the MDMA crystal high is different from pills with MDMA i get to a point wher...

Re: Techno and "substances"

MDMA doesn't really do as much for me as it used to. Luckily I've found I quite enjoy going to a party after smoking just a joint. The only thing I dislike is that because of the drugs, a lot of people are at a party that otherwise wouldn't be there. They don't have a real passion for the music.

Man, that's not a beginning producer sound! (unlike 95% of us here) :D
You got that right. He's probably a bit too tech-housey for some people in this forum though. I'm expecting him to get pretty big in the next years to come.

Re: Netflix tips

I just started watching Strangers Things - I guess I'm a little bit late to that party. But damn, what an amazing show. One of the best I've seen for sure - next to Mr. Robot. Everything is perfect, from the soundtrack to the CGI to the acting.
