Re: MPC Live Major Update.
wow, this thread really made me reconsider the mpc live. I am currently giging with two Octatracks and some other Hardware and i can tell you its pretty messy. Especially transitions between patterns are always so hard to do. Ive been looking for solutions for that for years now. @void: do you manag...

just another fun track ive been working on. It started as a very simple repetitive pattern just to have something to fill a gap in my liveset. Kind of weak in the low ends. Im always struggling with that.

Re: Monreal - Nefret
i really like the part without the background synth playing. its kind of too atonal and distracting.
But the beat is great and very well produced in my opinion.

agree. Very nice. I would dance
Also nice to see someone still using the Machinedrum. It was my favourite machine for a very long time.

good evening folks, havent posted anything in a while. I guess i was in some kind of creative hibernation. But i just aquired a new piece of old 90s VA gear. the beautiful Novation Nova. That finally inspired me a bit. Anyway, here is something i have been working on for quite while. There are a few...

agree with the others: needs less bass. The Chord is really nice though.. i like the kind of "far away" feeling. But the Chords could still be just a tiny little bit louder in my opinion.

Re: Shaker Distort/Tribal feeling
hmm i cant really hear much distortion there to be honest.
What all those 90s Schranz acts did was taking random samba tribal rythm loops and layer them to the get no.

Re: dubdub - soulful melodic electro
very nice!
Just one thing... i would not really need that background noise.
Its too static and feels kinda made up. Like fake lofi in a way. But i also understand how it adds warmth and density.

RONK (modest techno)
George Costanza: "I don't know, I like stuff you don't have to think about too much." Thats what the track is about. Its more or less the result of a jam and i just did it without paying too much attention to groove and stereo and eq´s and all that shit. Just fun. Made with: Octatrack, Rytm, Novatio...

Re: The Convolvulus (Techno)
thanks everybody for the feedback so far.
I tried not to listen to it for 2 weeks now and that helped a lot.
I think it DOES need more variation and maybe one other, interesting main element.
Now i cant wait to get home and continue working on it

i can only more or less repeat what others have said already.
I think it has some really, very interesting elements in it but the whole thing sounds like its evolving and evolving and evolving but not really coming. If that makes any sense.
