One simple method, take a kick, add reverb then some saturation, keep the reverb short, roll off a lot of the highs, maybe give a little boost somewhere between 60 and 120. Add another kick for clarity over the top with a roll off from...

Re: How much does Techno owe to E?

Weird that opinions of E are that people only ever gurn and gnaw their faces off. I think the reason for it that usually they were the ones that made themselves noticeable. I don't mean to generalize E users.. I still know many to this day.. Knowing that 80% percent of the crowd is on E or K was th...

Re: How much does Techno owe to E?

it took me 6 years to try E.. I never had the ambition to bother with it.. I played my music and ignored the tossers who gurned out and loved everyone. seeing some nutter gnaw his face off and bleed never appealed to me. After a big set in Toronto, I was given the opportunity to try it. As I was sta...

Re: Post an album to improve music production

one album i always loved was Underworld Live - Everything Everything As far as getting into music in the beginning. The very first album I owned that stood out to me was Prodigy - Weather Experience. At the time.. Living in Canada we couldn't even buy it in our stores.. and online was not in existen...

i call bullshit on the 'lazy' descriptor...... I think laziness is a huge factor for a lot of people. Its lazy, but people are. Instant gratification, being lazy, all of this is more and more common.[/quote] I agree 100% .. i have no problem posting tracklists when i have time... i fully respect ea...

Re: why no playlist?

.. I spent a month searching for the track that drumcell dropped at the 30 minute mark of his set at Movement 2013 in the underground.... I was there, but watched it over and over again on Be-at.tv about 30 times. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CHL15UaB5f8 This was the track.. one of my favourites ...

Re: why no playlist?

i call bullshit on the 'lazy' descriptor...... dj's go to the trouble of sourcing out the best and sometimes most current material there is out there for their sets.. sometimes at a huge time kill.. scouring demo's and websites for recent releases and combing through sometimes thousands of tracks be...
