If you're using Live's default compressor for sidechaining try switching to FF2; FF1 is the default mode and it can cause clicking on the ducked audio.

Try to record your kick to an audio track & cut it up manually. That way you can have a visual representation of whats happening because midi blocks can get boring sometimes

I took my time with the tape measure, got it set up like you guys recommended & it sounds much better now With the 1st option I had some weird bass buildup right behind my head & a lot of reverberation.
