Re: Maurizio Bass

from a technical point it is totally right. there are not much signal in a sine wave. but the key is a cascade of more than one filter(i wrote bandpass, not only a lowpass) with cranked up resonance. it adds new harmonics, cause the distortion. another way is to crank up your signal(sine wave) in yo...

Re: Maurizio Bass

its easier than you all think about it =)

just record a deep down sine or pulse wave and filter it to hell. the key is to use more than one filter (best way with much more resonance and bandpass) in a cascade behind the sine wave ;)

I prefer the IIEQPro instead of LP10. But own both since years. Cause IIEQPro has better shelfs and musical peakfilters. =)

This week Im at trying the apulSoft apQualizr. Also a great plugin with good mouse support. Good usability.

Re: Stillwell and Schwa effects

I like the rocket, but not the crazy gui. its another 1176LN clone and sounds much better as the softtube fet compressor, but not as the old uad plugin or the hardware revision D. 1973 seems to be another neve like clone, but I prefer the 1644 from DDMF. Its imho the best neve emu. also much better ...

Re: Budget Synth?

best budget synth is a dsi evolver for me. you get: * 4 oscs(2analog, 2digital with wavetables, fm and ringmod) - with real curtis cem chips (no more available but used in all prophets over the years and also by doepfer in a dark energy) * 4 lfos * great mod matrix * 3 delays * 3 envelopes(positive ...

Re: Sub Berlin The Story of Tresor

Was my second home back then. The old Tresor had such an atmosphere which is hard to describe. I still have the smell in my nose when you walked down the stairs and the music from the tresor-room was getting louder with every step. Still give me goosebumps when i think back of those days. Surgeons ...
