There's something there with those green lights like that aira synth which does the plug outs.

Is it?
Most of people (as me too) think that is just that! ;)

Re: The self analysis and betterment plan thread

Well, I'm afraid of doing a "public confession" here... but... I will try this, I have to speak with my own because I'm not sure if I can do the answers... Analysing your skillset is extremely valuable in just about any hobby (or job). It's not easy to be objective about oneself though. IMO, ...

Re: What gives a techno track it's energy?

Come on guys, it was a serious question! I always wonder what's the difference between mine and say, Robert Hood's music. Superficially the same, yet so different. Actually I prefer your "Hoodism" series instead some Hood's stuff... I think that the only thing your tracks need is just being more re...

Re: KEYS are for locks and SCALES belong on fish ???

Well, I think is useful to know what are and how to use, mainly if you want combine some parts/synths specially if they are rich in harmonics. You can make it too just by ear, but results appear early if you know about this. It works well if you want to add some pad (or even atmosphere) if it is in ...

Re: What kind of synthesis are these leads?

I think most of synths can do similar sounds. You have to work with short notes, some glide (as Planar said)... maybe some arpegiator could help, and also moving around higher tones or notes. You can use oscilators or just play the notes in the right extreme of the keyboard. Could work almost every ...

Re: Voidloss - Hypnotica Rising - Subsist

Thanks gents, you are all very kind. I`m normally known for weirder/darker stuff so I wasn't sure how this would be received as it shows my love for early 00`s progressive house and melancholia in general and is a little "straighter" in execution than general for me. Just wait `till my album comes ...

Re: Gear-maniacs, I need some help: Drum synthesizers!

- Yamaha RX5. If you put the time in to figure it out, it can really fuck with the samples. - Akai XE8. I've only had this a month or so but it seems to have plenty of editing options. - Yamaha DX synths (FM) - Casio CZ synths (Phase Distortion) - VXXY DCM8 Drum Machine. I've not got one of these s...

1) very editable sound (I'm not looking for standard claps/kicks/toms) 2) analog stuff (I'm not a plugin guy) With that conditions... I would add MFB Tanzbär Really? You have it? Interesting, but quite standard techno nowadays... I'm a little tired of "deepness" lately...

Re: under £100 pedal / external fx recommendations ?

There are tons of options, and I think I cant say "this is better" because it depends on the personal taste mainly. What is "sound better"? I don't believe anymore in that thing when talking about equipment. Just "like" or not. So you have to test and find what you like... I found interesting some B...

Bran Lanen - Techno Mix-Up 2014 (video)

All the 3 "segments" of my "Mix-Up" series recorded in video. The name and way of doing is inspired by the legendary Sony releases in the 90's, and specially the unforgettable dj set by Jeff Mills @ Liquid room that marked some of us. I use stompboxes... and mainly for BASS and not for guitars...
Also I think overdrive units are better than distortions.

I think is the best option just for that...and also it is capable of sound anything.
The only weak point has an easy solution for you... because the output sounds quite low, so you have to put some spice there.
