Not very active these days yeah. I used to visit subsekt all the time in the 2010's (seemed pretty active back then?), but I haven't logged in since 2019. It looks rather dead today. Just a bit of background. Reassure people your intentions are legit.

The Elektron forum is busy. Obviously with a heavy Elektron machine slant but there’s probably just as much general chat about production and other equipment.
They seem a nice bunch.

Got a Model:Cycles a few weeks back. Love it and its limitations, mostly.

A lot of fun using with ableton and the M4L remote control. Easily set up lfos for every parameter.

I’ve not watched the video throughout but as it says, recreating the dfam in ableton.
Whether this will give the results mentioned above using m4l, I don’t know but thought it might be of interest.

On an old 2012 MacBook Pro running High Sierra and all is well. Using 50/50 Live/AU plugins.
I have definitely found AU plugins to be more stable and less cpu hungry that VST2. Only have and odd one or two that aren’t AU and I have to use VST.
