Not very active these days yeah. I used to visit subsekt all the time in the 2010's (seemed pretty active back then?), but I haven't logged in since 2019. It looks rather dead today. Is there another forum people have moved to? ... I kinda feel reading and writing in general is dead. It's all insta...

In relation to web3, I was thinking about how mixes were sent around on cassette and copied and passed on "back in the day". It would be interesting to see if the same thing could be done with an NFT album or EP where the artist sells it first but builds in a small percentage every time it's sold on...

It's a bit like growing a plant... Plant the seed, water it, feed it, watch it grow and develop, learn from it, wait for it to flower, watch it die back, prune it and wait for the cycle to repeat. Don't spend all your energy worrying about whether it is good enough to plant it in the front garden......

From a quick search looks like you would need to get over 2000 plays every month to cover the cost of the subscription.

I might be wrong on that though, maybe someone else here knows the numbers better...
