Floppy Brains - Drifyn
Just another techno track... Low end / low mids might be a bit too much, I'll possibly rework the mix a bit.

Re: Amøbe - Kulture
There's a bit of resonance around 160Hz indeed, and except for the hat and noisy pad, the hi end might be a bit dull. Also the second synth line could do we being a wee bit more upfront.
Good job otherwise, I'm not sure this track needs much more

I don't think you need to add anything more - actually, I'd say this track would benefit from a bit "less" elements in terms of temporal density. My very humble opinion of course

Re: You and Slightly Small People - Night Rice
A very good way to start the day !!! This is the funniest (in a very good way) track I've heard for a long time - and it definitely has a great groove.

Re: How do you deal with "being multi-talented"?
Different moods indeed, but to me those three tracks have enough of your signature sound and style to not clash that much with each other. This being said, I do understand what you mean. I like so many different genres of music - from Gregorian chant and Irish trad to punk/metal - that I can never b...

Re: Amøbe - DsD
that second hat is the 909RideCymbal(TM) you suggested I added in the WIP thread :D oops   Tried lowering the ride - do you think it sits better in the mix now? Mmm, I'm in two minds actually  It does "sit better in the mix" indeed, but then it's perhaps loosing a bit too much ener...

Re: Amøbe - DsD
Definitely not trance, and it has a detroit vibe indeed. The second hat (right after the break) is perhaps a touch too loud IMHO, but that's mostly a tastes and colors thing. GoodJob(tm) once again dude

Re: What do you do with your tracks?
I still upload my stuff on Soundcloud and I rarely share my music publicly on there so there's only a few people who listen to my tracks. Almost everything on my soundcloud is public, but there are still only a few people listening to my tracks... Must be doing something wrong I guess ? What ...

Re: Reverb processing tips and tricks thread
Saturation, compression, bit crushing, flanger, delays, a second reverb, mid-side processing, whatever. Oh and yes: automation of course. Also, mixing up a sidechained ambiance track into the same reverb, so it appears to be part of the reverb tail.

Re: The Lab - Drifyn.
I like it. The groove and drive work really well. Its forward driving but laid back at the same time. I like the bassline, and i like tje somehow hollow feel that it has. But i think it could have a touch more upper harmonics, maybe dont open the filter more, but parallel saturate/distort/crunch it...

Re: The Lab - Drifyn.
I am not too partial to the acid-esque synth, but amobe is right that it gives it a very retro feel. Thanks for the feedback 8-) Yeah I'm still unsure about this bassline, and yes I feel like I'd need a bit "more" in the first part (before the stabs come in) and a touch less in the second. Will pro...

Re: mervv - boundary
The second mix seems to fix most of the the issues - sounds both deeper and punchier, and the high percs feel more connected to the rest of mix. Really like the mood / ambiance and the groove, good job sir !-)

Not quite my universe but good job nonetheless If you feel like sharing, I might be interested in trying a more techno-ish or trancey remix...

Monorail - Drifyn
A rather "straight-ahead" track - as the name implies
