Re: Stereo to mono plugin?

You can do this easily with the fabfilter pro q equalizer! Set it to m/s mode, set band one to "highpass" and "side" to only let through stereo information above your lowcut.

Re: DAT recorder

I feared that.. :( Well, I'll keep it anyway. Maybe one day some nerd pays me a lot of money for that..

Tefifon, funny thing. Have never seen one in the real world. Maybe because it was not super successful. ;)

DAT recorder

So my boss has just donated an old Tascam DA-30 to me. Unfortunately I don't really know what to do with it apart from recording tracks on tape and then putting them into the drawer. Are there some cracks around here who know how to ab use it. As it is a Digital Audio Tape recorder it should not be ...

Re: Technics 1210 mkiii Repairs

No I never had to buy new faders - just re calibrated the ones that were already built in. ;-) Saves you money.
Nevertheless: There is always a chance that the faders are really "broken" - in that case you'll have to buy new ones of course...

Re: Technics 1210 mkiii Repairs

I've repaired about 10 pairs of Technics TTs so far. Try to re-adjust the pitch first. Here's a very good tutorial for that: Part 1: http://youtu.be/L-NcdnCL41Y Part 2: http://youtu.be/hCEf4CArTCk The replacement of ground wires and RCAs is quite tricky but definitely possible. Be careful with the t...

Re: Who is into visual arts, too?

I`ll refer you to this thread covering pretty much the same subject http://subsekt.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=4304 We already discussed that and have come to the point that the other thread focusses on something different. But thank you anyway. With visual art, you have to think about what you're seei...

Re: Who is into visual arts, too?

Well, as an active demoscener I'm mutually interested in visuals as well as music. Very often things I see set a certain kind of mood that flows into my music productions. That's pretty much why I recently challenged myself to post something inspiring every day, somewhere between music, visual and ...

Re: Your favorite tracks for a sunrise set?

Interesting... with sunrise parties I associate being completely out of it after having danced all night. Energetic music would be too much for me then.. I thought he was looking for a soundtrack.. However here is some "party sunrise" music: Intermittent by Andy Stott https://soundcloud.com/modernlo...

Who is into visual arts, too?

As techno producers/ consumers we are all open minded and responsive for other arts as long as they are tickling us in the proper place, right? Firstly I'd like to know if anybody here also has tasteful visual arts at home. Secondly: Are you connected to the visual art scene in any way? For my part,...
